To Whom It May Concern:
Amsleigh Park Primary School has utilized the services of the WiseOnes program throughout the last two years. We have fund the program, units of work and staff to be excellent in every regard.
The program was introduced in Term 2 of 2003 when it was obvious to staff that we had a large number of students who are extremely high achievers. We tested the students from year 1 to 6 and found that there were (and still are) approximately 20% who were identified in the 93rd percentile and above.
Although every attempt is made to cater for these students within classroom programs, they have a high thinking order and the capability to learn at a faster rate than most other students hence it is extremely difficult for classroom teachers to continually deal with when there are 20 or so other students at varying stages of intelligence in the classroom. We felt that these students need to come together to work with “like people” and to see that there are others in the school who think as they think, and they are not alone.
The WiseOnes program is excellent and the children benefit greatly from being part of it. The units of work studied are highly engaging for all the students throughout the primary school years and they really enjoy sharing what they have learnt with their peers, teachers and families.
The classroom teachers have noticed a decided positive improvement in their social and skill development.
One of the real highlights and assets of the WiseOnes program is the quality of the staff. At Amsleigh Park we have been very impressed with the caring nature of the WiseOnes educators who demonstrate a genuine sensitivity to the needs of the students and are committed to catering for their needs.
I have no hesitation in recommending the WiseOnes program to your school as I am extremely confident that the educational, social and personal requirements of your gifted students will be met.

Carnegie Primary School

WiseOnes has conducted a program to support and extend the gifted and talented students at Carnegie Primary School over the last three years. The program has been very successful in meeting an important need in our school. The parents of the children who have attended WiseOnes are very satisfied with the outcomes and grateful that the program is available. Most importantly, the children have all enjoyed WiseOnes and look forward to participating each week.
With thoughtful planning, a program such as WiseOnes is easy to manage in any school setting. We have found the WiseOnes organization and its teachers to be flexible and understanding in order to fit into a normal busy timetable and often changing calendar.
WiseOnes has always complemented the curriculum we offer and I would recommend this organization and their program to any school.

Brighton Primary School
Brighton Primary School has been involved in WiseOnes for the past five years and throughout that time has been very satisfied with the program. It caters for students of high ability and complex thinkers and provides an opportunity for them to work with like-minded students on aspects of the curriculum they woudn’t normally be exposed ot at their stage of schooling.
The students involved attend enthusiastically and enjoy the stimulating subject matter and the lively discussions occuring. The program supports the curriculum in that it is inquiry driven and has a focus on the acquisition of skills and knowledge required to function at a high level in a complex world.
We have also had the benefit of some excellent WiseOnes teachers who not only are committed to ensuring that all who attend gain the maximum benefit within the time spent there, but have provided staff with valuable knowledge and understanding of the needs of our gifted and talented students.
I would highly recommend the program to all schools needing additional support in catering for gifted students.
