An approved WiseOnes teacher comes to your school with everything needed to provide the weekly lesson. All the children need is a pencil case. The school provides space for 8 children and their WiseOnes teacher and allows the children out of class on their parents request.
We make it as easy as possible for the school staff, the parents and the children. We have been school staff, we have been parents of advanced learners, we have been school leaders too. We empathize with everyone concerned and have attempted to make it as easy as possible for everyone
- Parents – the child is safe at their own school, no travel costs or inconvenience and they are in a familiar environment. They are offered a wide ranging, real word, exciting curriculum that aims for wisdom and wholeness and does not cut across class learning..
- Teachers – the child does not miss the same lesson each week so there is no pressure to “catch up”. They are identified fast learners. The average fast learner learns at 140% the rate of the child of average potential so they can miss quite a bit without you having to worry. Other research shows that they already know 80% of the work expected to be taught at any year level and they know it by February. Concerns about missing class work are unfounded according to the research. Research also proves that the WiseOnes type of program is second only to acceleration by a whole year in effectiveness for fast learners or children of gifted potential.
- Principal – all our teachers are state approved and have been cleared for Working With Children. They have also been thoroughly checked by us as if they were teaching our own children. They are of “like mind” with the children- fast thinkers, different sense of humour, large body of general knowledge, fast learners, and good teachers. They are conscientious and well organized and they care about the children and your school. They carry their own Public Liability Insurance.
Our Education Managers maintain a professional relationship with you and provide you with full information. We provide staff meetings to inform teachers of ways to identify the fast learners who are hiding or disadvantaged by health challenges and we provide information afternoon or night meetings for interested parents.
We are not a bureaucracy but a flexible team of professional educators.
